This is my 2004 G35. Manual, coupe, black interior. A personal unicorn if I say so myself. As of 6/25/2021 the car has 232xxx miles put on it.
I bought the car back in August of 2015 when it had 163xxx miles. It’s been an exciting car to own, and having previously owned a ’91 Toyota Celica, it was such an upgrade. I’ve done nearly all of the maintenance on the vehicle, with help from family and friends, and the maintenance has been extensive.
I’ve replaced both window motors after owning the car for a few years. The Texas heat really battered the already known to be weak motors that have to lift the very large coupe windows. Before I owned the car, it had been in a slight front end collision that required a big front end rebuild. When I bought it, the headlights, radiator, front core support, bumper had all been replaced, and the radiator had been replaced with a junkyard radiator. The plastic ended up cracking and I went ahead and installed a full aluminum radiator and have had no issues with it since.
As far as cosmetic or actual upgrades/modifications, I replaced the super outdated headlights with the very modern looking Spec-D headlights. Running BC Coilovers that are very sporty and a massive upgrade from the tired stock suspension. The car has the famous MotorDyne 5/16″ plenum spacer for increased performance, specifically to the two most forward cylinders that can be oxygen starved at higher rpm. Also put an UpRev flash tune on it.
